Hasten Vaccination for a smooth election
The chief secretaries of all polling states have been directed to hasten the first and second vaccination shots for all eligible adults over the age of 18. Nearly 95.8% of people in Goa had taken both doses of the vaccination by January 7, 2022. In Uttarakhand, 99.67 percent of patients received their first dose, and 82.39 percent received their second. In Uttar Pradesh, 89.35% of the population had received the first dose, and more than 52% had received both. In Punjab, 81.9 percent of people had had their first immunization shot, and 45.6 percent had received both. Only the first dose was given to 59.6 percent of patients in Manipur, while 44.8 percent received both.
